Neighbors...

I live in a building of 50 apartaments, so i have a lot of neighbors!
Luckly, most of them love music and they seem to be happy when i play.
Some days i play for very long hours and they never say a word about it, in fact they love it. One of them gets worried when i play for a short time!haha

But i have a big problem, the man who lives next door doesn't like music, in fact he thinks that it's annoying!!yes, you might think "what a loser"!!but it's the ugly truth, and now i have to ask for permission to play, if he is at home, i can't play!!and the worst is that i can say anything because he is in his right as my neighbor!!:(

Do you have this problem with your neighbors??
Are they boring and annoying like mine!!??

Liz

What a shame. My neighbour's are very good - they don't seem to mind. I suppose we do have to be thoughtful about the people around us. Playing your flute at reasonable hours during the day and early evening should be acceptable.

Dani

Lucky you Liz!!
I play at very reasonable hours, i never play early in the morning, and at the evening i stop playing between 19:00 and 21:00, and here that it's really early!! :)
Anyways, today i'll meet with him to discuss the hours of the day i can play!! I hope he'll be nice with me!!:)

Liz

Maybe you could play him his favourite tune! Good luck. Let us know how it goes.

Dani

Everything went right!! He was nice luclky!:)
I can play every day, but only for 2 hours! but at least it's something!!
I think i'll enjoy more my flute playing now i have to play less hours!!luckly i can see the glass half full!!;)

Liz

Excellent news! I'm pleased your glass is half full, it's the best way to look at everything in life. Enjoy your practice, it will focus you and make your time very precious.

I have just been banned from piccolo for a whole week! I started practising piccolo about 10:30ish then about half an hour later, There was a knock on the door. when my mum opened the door we saw nextdoor neighbour glaring at us with bags under his eyes. He told us that I had woken him upand after saying that, he stomped off!

Liz

At night?

Sam Banks

No it wasnt actually!! He is Spanish so maybe he had a morning siesta
