Flutewise Live! again?

In May 2009 we held an incredible event at the Barbican Centre and Guildhall School of Music and Drama, London. Should we have another one? Who/what would you like to see there? I need to know what you want!

Sounds great! I think something similar to last time but with a different twist to it, like a theme for the entire day and workshops etc. based around it. Maybe you could do something with the ukes!! :)

Liz

I like the ukes idea. Any thoughts on what the 'theme' could be?

racheln

Definitely! I think a theme to it all sounds like an amazing idea...could you get a purple cow in anywhere??? It would also be good if there was some focus on lesser played but really deserving of more attention works of the flute repatoire.

Liz

Good idea, Rachel. The purple cow needs another airing!

bas23

What about an animal theme, then the purple cow can be easily included?

Flutewise goes on Live Safari!
Flutewise Live at the Zoo!
Flutewise goes Animal Crackers!

hellie_coates

I would definitely come as i wasn't able to come to the last :'( and it sounds brilliant!

annen

Fantastic idea liz you should include the masterclasses again loved those at the Barbican.

ellie_cadzow

It would be amazing!!! I'll be at GSMD for real by then so easy to get to... although... Does it matter that i'm not a 1st Study Flautist??

Loved it so much last time. The highlight if I was to name anything was Premiering Zig Zag Zoo and being so close to Ian Anderson! As well as the evening concert.

I would love to have another flutewise live. I went and really enjoyed the Mamma Mia and movie playalongs. A animal theme, with a purple cow, would be really cool! It is a really good idea and I'd come!

Go flutewise live

izzy_w

i loved flutewise live last year! woop.

Abbie

Another Flutewise Live would be brilliant!!
I love the idea of an animal theme. The flute choir pieces could be animal themed (plenty of those and of course Zig Zag ZOO!). We could get a couple of out-of-work actors to be the pantomime purple cow!! And there's the Flight of the Bumblebee in bee costume....
Yay!!
