Flute Case Covers
Hi, does anyone know where I can find a really nice leather flute case cover? I've found some but they are just a boring brown colour! I know that All Flutes Plus have some coloured cases on their website but I've been told that they are out of stock and have been discontinued.

Have you tried Just Flutes or Top Wind? What colour are you looking for?

I have looked on Just Flutes but they only have brown or black. I was think of something a bit more cheerful, like pink or purple!?!

Pink or purple in leather? I can't recall seeing one ever. Maybe Flute World in the US is worth trying.

Hi Clemie, Can't you get the Trevor James Leather ones anymore?? Mine was from topwind and they even had leopard print!!!!

I spoke to the flute shop people today and I don't have very much news. Jonathan Myall (Just Flutes) suggested you might be interested in an Altieri cover. It isn't leather but it does come in a variety of patterns. He has a swatch of sample materials but thinks it is at home, so if you are interested, give him a ring first.
Another suggestion from Jon was to find a sadler who could make you one.
Top Wind no longer stock them as they haven't found anything of good enough quality.
All Flutes Plus do stock some and Des has promised to get back to me. I'll let you know if and when he does if there is anything positive to share.
