Flutewise Live! 3 May 3.00pm

At 15.00 we had the final performance of the Pied Piper by Gabriella Leese. This involved her choir, the Engish Serenata Choir, pianist Trevor Hughes, lots of Flutewise players and Tim Kipling as the Pied Piper. They played pieces from Flutewise Live! Pull-out Music Book. In GSMD there were even more performances and workshops. Louise Matthew and Ian Judson gave a session on improvisation; parents were given advice by a panel of experienced teachers including Carolyn Wheadon, Karen Bertolaccini and Jocelyn Campbell. This was the brainchild of Abbie Burrows and everyone was entertained and educated how not to do things. The players included Paul Edmund Davies, Matej Zupan, Kirsten Spratt, Mike Mower, Gareth McLearnon, Lisa Nelsen, Tim Carey, Chris Baxter - if I've missed anyone, I hope Abbie will let me know.
