Flutewise Live! 3 May 1.00pm
Some (brave) parents attended a special workshop to learn to play the fife with Abbie Burrows, Sandy Hay and Stephen Clark. They did really well, so well they were invited to perform on the Barbican foyer at 13.00. We should have provided them with certificates of achievement!

After the debut performance of parents Mike Mower and Andy Panayi took the stage with pianist Neil Angilley.
There were even more workshops sessions going on in GSMD - James Penny held a session on his own compositions and then these were performed on the lower foyer. Lisa Nelsen gave a workshop masterclass using two pieces from Project:Flutewise Book 1, theye were Paradis: Sicilienne and Gaubert: Madrigal and there was als a Nose Flute Masterclass, lead by studentts of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Everyone got a free instrument to keep (well we wouldn’t want them back, would we?)
