Flutewise is delighted to be able to offer you the opportunity to take part in this fantastic festival. On 6 May there will be an evening concert with Trevor Wye and his Carnival of Venice when he'll play 56 different flutes! and also Ian Clarke who will delight everyone with his own compositions. Tim Carey will be the pianist.

Young flute players have the opportunity of attending a pre-concert workshop at Chelmsford County High School for Girls where they will learn some extended techniques with Ian Clarke based around Zoom Tube which is now featured on the GCSE syllabus and also rehearse Zig Zag Zoo which will be performed in the evening concert. (Parts will be available before the event).

This event is suitable for flute players aged 8 to 18, from beginners to post grade 8 standard.

Cost £7 for workshop which includes a free ticket for participant to the evening concert.
