Erich and Delia's presents

Here am I back from a great course at Abbtsholme. I'll tell you lots about it soon, but first of all .......... that present from Erich.

It was a pillow, sent through the post with no wrapping at all and addressed to 'Queen Liz' (I'm cool with that title). On the back of the pillow it has 'Purple Cow Pillow' and Erich, plus lots of his young flute people, have signed it. It is an amazing gift!

Now one of our course members, Delia, is one of Erich's students in Dallas. She was over visiting her grandaprents and came to our course. She brought me an amazing present - some purple cow biscuits! You can see 3 of them on the pillow. They were very yummy and another amazing present, so very thoughtful.

Many thanks to Erich and Delia - and long live the purple cow!

you wouldnt belive it but im delia. im the one who made the purple cow biscuits. my private flute lessons teacher ( Eric Tucker) told me to find something like a purple cow to give to liz. we looked all summer and only found a cow cookie cutter. so we made purple cow biscuits. but you have to have blue and red die for that right? well we only had red. we went to the store around the corner. they had a spot for it but they ran out. no problem right? somerfields around the block didnt even carry it! so we had to drive all the way to sainsburys just to get blue food coloring! so then we went home and finally made the cookies. and i had so much fun liv at the course. thank you so much for making it enjoyable

No, you're not the only one Emma! I haven't stopped humming since I got back. It was the Red Monkey tune but now it's Mamma Mia.

Anyway, thanks for a great course Liz! it was really enjoyable!
