A special gift
At the Norwegian Flute Festival I met a lovely flute teacher called Helga and I complimented her on her very pretty necklace - an owl. She thanked me and then said, "I'm pleased you like it, it is yours, you must have it." I was astounded! I refused and said I couldn't possibly accept such a gift, but she insisted as did her friend. I am now the very proud and grateful owner of this lovely owl which is also a watch.
I've always known flute players are lovely, kind people. Helga is an exceptional example. I hope we meet again. I will treasure this gift and the memory of receiving it forever. Thank you Helga - I'm just sad today I don't know your surname or your email address - but I'll find it soon!
