One of the Olympic Secrets - Gareth Davies and Flutewise Members

Olympics1Did you see the Opening Ceremony of the Olympics? I did and thought it was amazing. We all knew there we some big secrets and one of them was that some Flutewise members were taking part with Gareth Davies and the LSO! The photo above is the official Olympic flute section from the LSO On Track Orchestra doing a Usain Bolt pose just before playing last night. From left to right they are:

Charlotte Eves, Daniel Swani, Gareth Davies (our brilliant Flutewise Artist of the Year), Molly Kavanagh and Trivenie Lall.

:) playing at the olympics was an amazing experience and the view was incredible! We got to see all different areas of the stadium and we got our shoes signed by Sharon the LSO piccolo player :D. It was great being part of the official olympic flute section ( and most importantly , promoting flutes on national tv :O ).
